Community Partners

IWBC would like to thank Lakeshore Arts, our local community, not for profit, chariable organization for their invaluable assistance.

Humber College is our co-host and sponsor.  The Lakeshore Campus (3199 Lakeshore Boulevard West) sits on the quiet shores of Lake Ontario in a park-like setting just a short streetcar/subway ride from the hustle and bustle of "downtown" Toronto.  All of our events will be taking place on Humber grounds or a short walk over to the Assembly hall with the exception of the Sunday afternoon concert which will be held downtown Toronto.  Hotel style accommodation will be available at Humber College for the conference.  See Registration Page for more details

What an amazing facility they have.  Their Recording Studio is definitely state of the art.

We had the pleasure of working with Leah McCreight, Humber College Graphic Design student (since graduated) to help us develop the look and feel of our website. We think Leah did a great job in capturing the fun that we wanted to bring back to the world of making music. For more information about Leah and to see some more of her original designs, please check out her website,

(PS:  TShirts will be available for purchase at the conference)

The Assembly Hall

The Assembly Hall is located on the scenic Lakeshore Grounds in South Etobicoke (1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive -- walking distance from Humber College). This century-old building has undergone a major renovation by the City of Toronto, which preserved its historic charm, blended with modern updates and amenities. The Assembly Hall reopened in June 2001 as a multi-purpose community cultural centre, offering a performance hall, community meeting rooms and gallery space.  We are thrilled to be holding some key events in this beautiful location.  Click here for more information about the Assembly Hall
